PELCO Tabs™ Carbon Conductive Tabs, Double Coated

The simplicity of application and smooth, clean surfaces of PELCO Tabs™ Carbon Conductive Tabs are a significant improvement compared to many of the other common adhesives that have been used in SEM mounting. Both tab sides have a thick conductive adhesive (conductive inner tab is 35µm and the adhesive is 45µm on each side for a total thickness of 125µm [5 mils]) with a liner on both sides, a transparent liner and white liner respectively. They are ready for immediate use. The top protective liner does not have to be removed until the sample is ready to be mounted. This reduces possible contamination. Outgassing is negligible. 

Application of the tab to a mount or surface should be done slowly and carefully to maintain surface smoothness. 

The conductive adhesive is a carbon filled acrylic, free of solvents. It can be removed from the specimen mount with ethyl acetate, ethanol, isopropanol, alcohols or our 3M™ Adhesive Remover 80924 which is solvent-free. Temperature maximum is 60°C (140°F). High purity carbon tabs may contain very small impurities of Al and Si; see

Carbon Conductive Tapes, Double Coated

These carbon tapes are conductive and may be used conveniently for scanning electron microscopy or EDS applications. 
This is the same material as the PELCO Tabs™, Carbon Conductive Tabs, but in tape form. The tape form allows for special application uses such as custom sizes, cut-outs and shapes. The purity of this tape is identical to the PELCO Tabs™; only very small impurities of Al and Si may be found. 

Both sides of the tape have a thick conductive adhesive (conductive inner film is 35µm and the adhesive is 45µm on each side for a total of 125µm [5 mils]) with a white liner. The double adhesive and conductive design permits quick mounting of samples without using liquid or colloidal adhesives. 
The tape is relatively solid and non-porous and does not absorb small samples. The variety of widths affords efficient application to various specimen mount surface sizes. Thickness is 0.16mm. Available in four widths. Can be used down to -20°C (-4°F) and temperature maximum is 60°C (140°F). Available in 8, 12, 20, 25, and 50mm W x 20m L (.31, .47, .79, .98, and 1.96″ x 21.8 yd). Core diameter is 76mm (3″). SEM mounts not included.

Unconjugated Gold and Silver Sols – Gold/Silver Colloids (Sols)

  • 柠檬酸盐用净负面表面电荷稳定（Langmuir 2005,21：9303-9307）
  • 对于5nm金，金胶体pH范围从5以上，对于较大尺寸的颗粒（pH随尺寸增加而小于9）。
  • 可提供2至250nm的尺寸范围
  • 这些颗粒是用于光散射（拉曼或等离子体共振）的非常有用的工具（Analytical Chemistry 1999,71：4903-4908; Analytical BioChemistry 1998,262：137-156）

2nm胶体太小，不能散射光，溶液清澈。剩余的尺寸将光散射到不同程度，溶液颜色随着粒径的增加而变化。

银胶是一种较新的产品，并没有被表征和金胶体。它们在水中供应，具有负面表面电荷，可提供20至80nm的4种尺寸。较小的胶体（20和40nm）是黄色的，较大的尺寸（60和80nm）是浅灰色。

这些产品在开放后至少一年内是稳定的。为了避免打开后的污染，在洁净室条件下处理产品，以避免灰尘或其他空气污染物的污染。储存温度，打开后可根据应用是诊断还是研究方向从4-8°C（39-46°F）变化到室温。胶体沸腾稳定，冻结破坏。将产品储存在8°C（46°F）以下时，客户有责任确保冰箱在上述范围内保持恒温。

“Leitsilber”导电银水泥 “Leitsilber” Conductive Silver Cement

a reliable conductive ground path for SEM specimens 
Leitsilber is fast drying and has a flat surface texture. 
Silver content 45%, Resistance: 0.02 – 0.04ohms/square. Drying time ~10 minutes at 20°C. Application can be by brush, dipping or spraying. Acetone (#16023) can be used an extender/thinner or as a cleaner to remove the silver paint.

Maximum grain size: 16µm 
Maximum service temperature: 120°C 
Consumption rate: 0.6 – 2g per 100cm2 
Refrigerate for best life. Bring to room temperature gradually

Thin films of carbon which have been treated to obtain a large number of small holes. Supported on a G400, 400 square mesh copper Gilder grid. Examination of the Fresnel fringe around the hole when the objective lens is slightly defocused enables astigmatism to be corrected. Observation of the fringe also gives an indication of TEM stability and available resolution.
